Rio Alto is a Peruvian success story that owes a lot of its formative achievements to its Mining Alliance with STRACON. The Mining Alliance at the La Arena Gold Mine was the first of its kind in Peru, based on a cooperative and collaborative relationship between Rio Alto management and the management of STRACON. A "best for project" principal was implemented from the outset with a united approach to getting La Arena started and run on the most optimal basis to the benefit of both Alliance Partners without conflict or adversity. The flexibility and willingness of the STRACON team to work with Rio Alto management to get the job done at La Arena was a key component to the project's success.
